OUR PRODUCTS

We use the right technology to deliver the best data products

Technologies to map the geospace.

More than data collection. At LSI, we bring our client's projects to life by creating custom, data rich geospatial solutions. Our team of data scientists use advanced algorithms and machine learning techniques to extract insights that can be used in a variety of industry applications.

LiDAR

LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) uses lasers on aircraft or UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) to collect accurate 3-D elevation data from environments and objects, such as bare earth, transmission lines, buildings, structures, and vegetation. This information can be used to generate DTMs (Digital Terrain Models) and DSMs (Digital Surface Models), and conduct 3-D positional and dimensional attribute analysis, height and volume calculations, surface type classification, and image rectification.

Orthoimagery

Orthoimagery uses high resolution aerial photogrammetry and photography to enhance geospatial analysis. When paired with LiDAR data, this visual and spatial information can be used to accurately map the earth's surface. Both the scale and resolution of our imagery can be adjusted to meet the unique needs of our clients.

Hyperspectral

Hyperspectral imaging can be used to identify and map the electromagnetic properties of objects and materials. Our teams are able to collect data either directly or remotely using hyperspectral cameras on the ground or in the air.

Hyperspectral data can be used for:

  • Emissions detection and measurement

  • Geological and geothermal exploration

  • Fire and flood risk analysis

  • Forest inventory

  • Environmental monitoring

  • Vegetation health assessments
